Dodgers Win Deep River Horseshoe League Regular Season Title

Week 19 marked the end of the regular season in the Deep River Horseshoe League and the Dodgers wrapped up the regular season title by finishing with a record of 71-43, which was one game better than the Tigers, who took second place at 70-44. The Reds went 65.5-48.5 and finished in third place. The rest of the regular season standings were: Royals (64-50), Brewers (62.5-51.5), Angels (61-53), Red Sox (60.5-53.5), Mets (59-55), Padres (59-55), Indians (59-55), Giants (58-56), White Sox (56-58), Cardinals (55.5-58.5), Marlins (54.5-59.5), Rangers (53.5-60.5)), Pirates (51-63), Astros (47.5-66.5), Cubs (47-67), Orioles (43-71), and Braves (42.5-71.5).

In Week 19 action, A player Jim Scully once again led the way with 158 points and he was followed by the Dodgers’ Chip Goodrich (153), who edged out Dave Rioux, Sr. (152). John Sciacca finished first for the B players with a 122, Bill Brown was second (111), and Kris Toohey (92) finished third. For the C players, Robert Robinson of the Dodgers was on top by scoring a 98, while Dennis Goodrich was right behind the leader with a 97 and Joe Heery came in third at 86.
