Scully was followed by Dave Rioux, Sr., who shot a 176, plus Butch Carotenuto, who scored a 144. Ed Turner was the high man for the B players with a 121, while John Hutra was second (116) and Kris Casey (113) finished third. For the C players, Dennis Goodrich scored a 107 and Gary Brainard (86) and Robert Robison (83) placed second and third, respectively.
Overall, the Dodgers lead atop the standings was cut from six games to four, but they still remained in first place with a record of 66-36. The Tigers (62-40) moved back into second and the Reds jumped to third at 58.5-43.5.
