Corey Sondak won the 100 meters in 11.1, basically tied with Jordan Lembo-Frey, who was given second, but had the same time. Jordan came back and won the 200 later in 22.4 seconds. I have been really happy with the times our sprinters have been able to produce. It’s a great step in the right direction for this program,” said Head Coach Chris Skaggs. “It was great to end the regular dual-meet season on a high note. These guys have worked hard and we even had a few who qualified for states today. We have eight individuals and three relays already qualified for the state meet with several more athletes right on the edge. The start of nice weather really brought things together toward the end of the season. This is the exciting part of the season and our guys have shown they are ready to compete. Their hard work is paying off and the team is eager to take that next step in the season.”
