On Jan. 24, Branford’s 5th- and 6th-grade girls’ travel basketball teams competed against each other for seven minutes during halftime of the Quinnipiac women’s basketball team’s game against Siena in Hamden. The girls also got to tour the Bobcats’ weight and training rooms and each girl received a complimentary Quinnipiac basketball T-shirt.

“What a great day for the girls to experience a Division I university in our backyard,” said Coach Eva Esposito. “A great time was had by all.”
