Family Skate at Ingalls to Benefit Madison's Joe Barber
On Wednesday, Dec. 23, there will be a family skating event at Ingalls Rink in New Haven to honor and support Joe Barber, a senior at Daniel Hand High School and former Yale Youth Hockey Association skater who is recovering from a spinal cord injury suffered in a recent accident. The event will take place from 4 to 5:30 p.m. and all proceeds will go to the Barber family. The cost is $10 per skater and $25 for a family. Skaters must provide their own skates and helmets. Additionally at the event, there will be raffles and silent auctions; concessions including pizza, hot chocolate, coffee, and baked goods; and music provided by Roger Chasse.
To reserve your space, contact Lydia Keller at lydiawilliamskeller@gmail.com.
