Guilford's Youngest Baseball Stars Shine
This summer, Guilford Little League Farm Commissioner Steve Bioty organized a new opportunity for Guilford's eight-year-old baseball players. Players who were interested in summer ball were invited to join together to create a team to play other local towns' competitive All-Star teams. Guilford played approximately 20 games and placed second in the Madison Little League Kid-Pitch Invitational, beating Clinton, Southington, and two Madison teams on its way to the final. However, Guilford lost by a single run to North Haven in the championship.
