4x100, Teas, Schroeder, and Doolittle Prevail at Shoreline Championship


The Morgan boys' and girls' outdoor track teams saw a plethora of success at the Shoreline Conference Championship on May 23 at Haddam-Killingworth High School, led by four first-place finishes as the girls finished in fifth (77 points) and the boys took seventh (53.5).

Prevailing was the girls' 4x100 relay team of Jess Choronzy, Taylor Donaldson, Christy Coyne, and Stephanie Carroll (51.53); along with Will Teas in the 110 high hurdles (15.40), Elena Schroeder in the 300 hurdles (46.60), and Evan Doolittle in the 300 hurdles (41.57).

Also scoring points for the Huskies were the 4x400 relay team of Coyne, Emily Perzanoski, Donaldson, and Schroeder (2nd, 4:10.96); Doolittle in the 110 high hurdles (2nd, 15.61) and 300 hurdles (2nd, 42.10); Donaldson in the 400 (2nd, 1:00.64); Schroeder in the 100 high hurdles (3rd, 16.77); Alyssa Mancini in the long jump (3rd, 15-09), triple jump (3rd, 31-06½), and 100 high hurdles (5th, 17.22); Teas in the triple jump (5th, 37-08), and Choronzy in the 200 dash (5th, 27.96).
