EHYF 7th-Graders Win Shoreline Conference Title

The East Haven Youth Football 7th-graders capped its perfect 2011 season (11-0) with its third-straight Shoreline Conference title. East Haven buzzed to an eight-win regular season, including wins over North Haven, North Branford, and both Madison teams. The Yellowjackets' potent offense racked up an average of 37 points per game in the regular season, while the stinging defense only relinquished an average of 12 points per contest.

East Haven entered the playoffs as the No. 1 seed and defeated Old Saybrook/Westbrook in the quarterfinals, 35-15, then dispatched North Branford 28-12 in the semifinals.
