07/07/2022 12:01 AMThe annual Waldo Madison Scavenger hunt is underway. The community-wide event is free and open to all kids, parents, and Waldo-lovers of any age. Where’s Waldo Passports can be picked up at R.J. Julia Booksellers, 768 Boston Post Road, Madison.
Waldo is hidden at a number of establishments in Madison. Participants are asked to find Waldo in those locations. They then collect a signature on the passport in that business. Passports when completed are turned into R.J. Julia, where the first 125 participants will receive a temporary tattoo and a coupon. They also will be entered into a grand prize raffle.
The event runs through Friday, July 29, when a grand celebration will be held at R.J. Julia at 4 p.m. Those who plan to attend the Grand Waldo Celebration are welcome to wear their best red and white outfit. Waldo will make a guest appearance and pose for photos and sign autographs. There will be coloring and activity sheets, ice cream, and maybe even a Waldo parade, along with special discounts on Waldo books.
