Here’s a hearty welcome back to these restaurants and eateries that have opened back up for the season and/or are expanding their hours and days of operation! Rocky’s Aqua, 34 Riverside Drive, Clinton, which offers casual waterfront dining with indoor and outdoor bars and two outdoor decks, is open seven days a week. Its menu includes staff fave crispy Buffalo shrimp with homemade blue cheese dressing. Dockside at Dauntless, in the Safe Harbor Dauntless Shipyard, 37 Pratt Street, Essex, also offers waterfront dining, in this case river views and a menu heavy in fresh seafood. Guilford Lobster Pound, 505A, Whitfield Street, Guilford is family-run seafood restaurant that specializes in hot, buttered lobster rolls. It’s BYOB and cash only, but there is an ATM on premise, and it’s a prime location where the East River meets Guilford Point. And The Wharf at the beachfront resort Madison Beach Hotel, 94 West Wharf Road, Madison, is now open seven days a week, and it has started up an à la carte brunch on Sundays as well.—Pem McNerney
