11/17/2021 11:01 PMThe 43rd annual Lenny & Joe’s Madison Turkey Trot will be held on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 25 at 10 a.m. There will be a five-mile race and a two-mile walk with both start and finish in the heart of Madison on the historic Madison Town Green. The event is dedicated to Dave Parcells, two-term Madison Jaycees president who passed away suddenly in April 2007.
Both the run and walk courses will feature scenic views of Long Island Sound and some of Madison’s most picturesque shoreline neighborhoods. For a course map, visit www.madisonjc.com.
Long sleeve T-shirts are guaranteed to the first 2,500 pre-registered runners and walkers. There will be a post-race party with refreshments. The run and walk courses are separate.
Packet pick-up will be held this year at Lenny & Joe’s in Madison, 1301 Boston Post Road, Madison on Tuesday. Nov. 23 and Wednesday, Nov. 24 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Packets may also be picked up the morning of the race.
Parking is available in public lots and a limited number of spaces will be available in select private lots downtown. Participants are encouraged to carpool. For a complete list of parking areas, visit www.madisonjc.com.
