Nibbles: Southwest Chicken Salad at Chili’s
Having been away for a little over a week, regular errands pile up. After a late morning meeting in Old Saybrook (and forgotten to eat breakfast, again!), I stopped at Chili’s on my way home. I remembered how much I liked it Cobb salad and decided that would be lunch. But the menu had changed, and, ah well, I thought, the Southwest Chicken Salad sounded good. And it was way beyond good. Lots of romaine, strips of tortilla, warm grilled chicken, slices of avocado, a house-made ranch dressing and a drizzle of Santa Fe drizzle. I am a fan of spicy, but the drizzle was not very spicy. Ask for it on the side. Also, if you have Chili’s app on your cell, you get salsa and chips with your order.
