04/01/2021 12:01 AMThis is certainly not a beach read, but it’s a very topical biography by renowned biographer, Walter Isaacson. Subtitled “Jennifer Dounda, Gene Editing and the Future of the Human Race,” what could have been a dry academic book, is in fact a gripping account of how Noble Prize winner Dounda and her colleagues started a revolution, that should allow us to cure diseases and fend off viruses. With illustrations, this is an interesting and thought-provoking book.
