Alforno Trattoria • Bar • Pizza in Old Saybrook, after having to close briefly due to team member testing positive for COVID (and doing the responsible thing by making full disclosure to the public) has decided to close for the month of January. They plan to reopen when they feel it is safe to do so. We look forward to that day and wish all of them the best in the meantime. They will be missed.—Pem McNerney
