9 Town Transit Fares Resume with New Mobile Option

After a long pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic, 9 Town Transit buses have resumed collection of fares. The agency used the time to install barriers in all vehicles to allow the safe collection of fares.

Tickets and passes are once again available at local Stop & Shop stores and online at ww.9towntransit.com. In addition, a mobile ticketing option has been added to provide a contactless way to pay.

With mobile ticketing though the Token Transit app, customers can purchase one trip, multi-trip, or timed passes. The app also offers exclusive one day and five day passes that allow unlimited trips. The app always gives the customer the best value, providing free upgrades to money saving passes.
