Nibbles: Litaly Vanilla Wafer Rolls
As soon as I bake a batch of something sweet, I taste one, and decide whether it is good enough for a column. Then, out into the world they go; those sweet things leave my house. That is also true of the sweets I buy. I bought an enormous package of jelly beans. I ate all the black ones and the red ones, then dumped them.
A couple of weeks ago, I went into Ocean State Job Lot to buy some cute little tin flower pots. They were less than $5. On the way to the cashier, I saw a tin of cute little rolled wafers filled with something creamy. I bought a tin. They were beyond delicious. There is an exception to every rule. Not only will they not leave my house, but I may buy a few more.
