The Nest Coffee Shop, a nonprofit endeavor dedicated to changing the lives of young adults with disabilities, will host a Knit, Stitch, and Crochet group on Wednesdays from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in the coffee house, 162 Main Street, Deep River. Participants are welcome to bring any work in progress, enjoy a cup of coffee and a treat, and enjoy the company of others. All levels and abilities are welcome.

The Nest is a place where young adults with disabilities gain work experience and confidence in a setting grounded in acceptance and support. It is also a place where community members gather to see for themselves that young adults with disabilities are valuable and productive members of the community. The Nest currently works with nearly 20 young adults with disabilities beginning their work journey.
