Madison Happiness Club Presents ‘The Truth of Transformation’
The Truth of Transformation by Laura Furey will be the next presentation of the Madison Happiness Club on Wednesday July 31 at 7 p.m., at Hubley Hall right next to the First Congregational Church, 26 Meeting House Lane, Madison on the Town Green.
Transformation and healing are often portrayed as a happy and linear line. Furey’s experiences taught her otherwise. She suffered from multiple chronic illnesses, along the way facing death and many other obstacles. She realized there are common themes many people encounter while undergoing a transformation. She says that while change, transformation, and healing can be incredibly beautiful, there will be inevitable obstacles and pain as people begin to step into a new way of living.
Furey is a certified integrative health coach currently completing a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Southern Connecticut State University. Her coaching practice, A-HAH!
