Christine at the Griswold Inn Store, 47 Main Street, Essex recommends a book called Cin Cin, Wood-fired Cucina, by Andrew Richardson.

Julia Booksellers, 768 Boston Post Road, Madison have set up a whole display with barbecue books, including Salt Block Grilling by Mark Bitterman, Grill Smoke BBQ by Ben Tish, Grill Fire by Lee Taylor, and Meathead: The Science of Great Barbecue and Grilling by Meathead Goldwyn.
