New York may have its Pizza Rat, a video of a rat dragging a pizza through the NY subway, but Connecticut has it's Pizza Rat Terrier, a video of a Rat Terrier-mix burying a slice of pizza in our garden.

After I wrote the article that appeared in the Shoreline papers, The Dog that Stayed, my middle son created a Facebook account for our dog Lili, the subject of the story. We were so surprised that a few days later the video had been viewed more than 20,000 times.

I have seen comments written in German and Spanish among other languages so I am guessing our crazy old dog is getting some international exposure as well.

As for Lili she seems unchanged by her sudden notoriety. She still chases squirrels, rolls in the dirt and eats anything that falls on the floor. If you would like to see the video you can find a link on zip06, or on Facebook, Lili the Rat Terrier.
