What’s New at Field House Farm
Field House Farm, 623 Green Hill Road in Madison, is becoming well-known not only for its sustainable farm—which produces vegetables, chicken, heritage turkeys, sheep, goats, pigs, and more—but also for its fun events. It has an “Ultimate Backyard Barbeque” coming up on Wednesday, July 6 at 5 p.m. that includes music and a menu, made by Chef Matt Backe of the Rooster Restaurant Company, that offers a roasted Field House Farm forest-raised pig, kale Caesar salad, watermelon tomato salad, bourbon-glazed apples, truffle mac and cheese, rosemary roasted potatoes, and collard greens with bacon and onion succotash.
