Overshores Brewing Co., at 250 Bradley Street in East Haven, recently celebrated its second anniversary with a live band, food trucks, beer specials, and prizes. The brewery’s beers include a Belgian style farmhouse ale called Belle Fermiere that they say is great with soft cheese, artichokes, figs, shellfish, and pasta dishes, They also have a Belgian small beer called Simpel, a Belgian strong dark called Tripel Brun, and several more. If you missed the party, it’s not too late to check it out. The first dedicated Belgian style brewery in Connecticut, run by Connecticut native Christian Amport, offers both a tap room bar, and tours Thursday through Sunday.
