Fine Art Annual Invitational Features Realism, Trompe L’Oeil, Along with Whimsical Works

Susan Powell Fine Art’s Annual Still Life Invitational opens Friday, April 8 and continues through Saturday, May 7. There will be an opening reception to meet the artists on Friday, April 8, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the gallery on 679 Boston Post Road, Madison.

The pieces in the exhibit range from the classic to the contemporary, highlighting all aspects of these genres.

“From Realism and trompe l’oeil to the whimsical, 22 award-winning artists create visual narratives with unique subjects rich in atmosphere,” says gallery owner Susan Powell.

Artists in this year’s exhibition include Kathy Anderson, Carol Arnold, Patt Baldino, Stephanie Birdsall, Kelly Birkenruth, Deborah Chabrian, Dan Brown, Grace DeVito, Vincent Giarrano, Timothy Jahn, Susan Jositas, Sarah Lamb, Anne McGrory, Michael Naples, Cora Ogden, Cindy Procious, Terry Rafferty, Carlo Russo, Claudia Seymour, Elizabeth L. Strazzulla, George Van Hook, and Sandra Wakeen.
