April 24: Love the food trucks along the Madison Green? Show your support on Food Truck Appreciation Day, a grassroots effort that aims to combat anti-food-truck sentiment in town. Participating trucks include Tacqueria Cinco (10 a.m. to 7 p.m.), Taco Pacifico (noon to 7 p.m.), High Tide Gourmet (noon to 7 p.m.), Sugar Bakery Cupcake Truck (3:30 to 6:30 p.m.), and Meriano’s Cannoli Truck (3 to 7 p.m.).
April 26: It’s the Shoreline Chamber of Commerce Beers for Cheers Branford Breweries Tour! Hop on a bus at 10:45 a.m. at Stony Creek Brewery in Branford and enjoy stops at DuVig Beer Brewing Company, Southport Brewing Company, Stony Creek, and Thimble Island Brewing Company.
