Works by Eder on View in New Haven
Landscapes featuring the Connecticut shoreline and still life paintings by Guilford resident Eileen Eder are on display at the New Haven Lawn Club (193 Whitney Avenue, New Haven) through March 12. They may be viewed between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily.
Eder received her B.F.A. degree from Albertus Magnus College and M.F.A. from the Graduate School of Figurative Art at the New York Academy Art. She teaches drawing and painting at her studio in Guilford and at the Creative Arts Workshop in New Haven.
Eder has exhibited widely throughout the Northeast in both group and solo shows and has won numerous awards for her work. Recent awards include first place, Still Life Category, in Artist's Magazine's 28th annual competition featured in December 2011 issue and local awards in both the Madison Art Society and Guilford At League.
