The future groom is the captain of the 62-foot yacht Panacea, home port of Newport and winter port of Palm Beach. He previously taught sailing for many years for J World in Newport and attended Salve Regina University.
The future bride is the marina manager of Conanicut Marina in Jamestown, Rhode Island. She graduated from Johnson & Wales University and is a boat captain and a former member of the United States Coast Guard.
The couple will be married in Nantucket and will reside in Newport.
