Mari Chanda Ruck, the daughter of Nicholas and Pamela Ruck of Guilford, is engaged to wed Scott Albert Guest, the son of Alberta and Donald of North Branford.

The future bride graduated from Quinnipiac University with a bachelor’s degree in communications. She is a hairstylist at Station One Salon in Clinton.

The future groom graduated from Quinnipiac University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. He is an account executive with Konica Minolta in Shelton.

A July 2013 wedding is planned.
