04/18/2024 10:27 AMJoyce Ann McCormick, 72, of East Haven, passed away on Oct. 16, 2023, in Mount Juliet, TN. Joyce was born in New Haven on Nov. 30, 1950, to Anthony and Antoinette Perrotti. She was the wife of the late Michael V. McCormick.
After working many years for Connecticut Orthopedics, she retired in 2014.
Joyce is survived by her sons, Shaun (Alexis) McCormick of Cape Coral, Florida, and her two grandsons, Finn and Padraig, Brandon (Ashley) McCormick of Mount Juliet, Tennessee, and grandson Luke and granddaughter Lea; her two sisters, Marlene (John) Corolla of Hamden, and Susan (Bryan) Carman of Mesquite, Texas; nieces, Michele Corolla of New Orleans, Louisiana, Kristin (John) Piraneo of Middletown, and Nicole Carman of Mesquite, Texas; great-nephews, Matthew Piraneo of Middletown, and Liam Helms of Mesquite; sister-in-law to Pat McCormick of Mount Juliet; as well as closer than friends, Michael (Sandy) Laudano of East Haven.
The family would like to thank Charter Senior Living in Hermitage, Tennessee, for the care given to Joyce in her short time there.
Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home & Cremation Service (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
