Ethel Nann

On April 5, 2024, Ethel (Fowler) Nann, 94, a longtime resident of Northford, passed away at Yale New Haven Hospital following complications from a fall at her home. Mrs. Nann was born in New Haven on Jan. 6, 1930, the daughter of the late Frederick Fowler and Edyth (Parke) Fowler. She was the wife of the late Edward F. Nann and loving mother of her daughters, Patricia Nann (Duane Gray) of Guilford and Dorothy Grannis (late husband Donald) of Northford, and grandson, Justin Grannis of Burlington, Massachusetts. She is also survived by her sisters, Jean Carlson and Muriel Tiedemann (Bud); brother, Frank Fowler (Betsy); and several nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed both vegetable and flower gardening, reading, and doing jigsaw puzzles with her daughters.

Services will be held privately.
