The North Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. Wednesday, Aug. 5
• A 31 year-old man of State Street was arrested at 10:18 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.
Thursday, Aug. 6
• A 53 year-old Hamden man was arrested at 5:35 p.m. and charged with evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident in which there was property damage or bodily injury) and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway.
Friday, Aug. 7
• A 26 year-old man of Clintonville Road was arrested at 4 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.
Saturday, Aug. 8
No arrests were made.
Sunday, Aug. 9
• A 58 year-old woman of Clintonville Road was arrested at 7:02 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.
Monday, Aug. 10
• A 46 year-old woman of Pool Road was arrested at 12:05 a.m. and charged with burglary in the third degree, criminal mischief in the first degree, and breach of peace in the second degree.
• A 48 year-old Newtown man was arrested at 7:15 p.m. and charged with stalking in the second degree and harassment in the second degree.

Thursday, Aug. 13
• A 32 year-old Torrington man was arrested at 8:30 a.m. and charged with violation of a protective order and operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension.
• A 21 year-old Meriden man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9:16 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, failure to register a commercial plate, and misuse of plate.
• A 49 year-old man of Rimmon Road was issued a misdemeanor summons at 10:12 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and failure to renew registration.
Friday, Aug. 14
• A 21 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 1:15 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.

Sunday, Aug. 16
• A 27 year-old woman of Quinnipiac Avenue was arrested at 12:35 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.
• A 30 year-old man of North Adams, Massachusetts was arrested at 10 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.
Monday, Aug. 17
• A 31 year-old man of Tokeneke Drive was issued a misdemeanor summons at 2:30 p.m. for evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident) and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway.
• A 56 year-old man of Primrose Street was arrested at 6 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.
Tuesday, Aug. 18
• A 22 year-old Hamden man was arrested at 2 p.m. and charged with five counts of violation of probation.
• A 79 year-old man of Westview Road was arrested at 7 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.
Wednesday, Aug. 19
• A 29 year-old man of Pool Road was arrested at 12:19 p.m. and charged with burglary in the second degree and criminal mischief in the second degree.
• A 22 year-old New Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 5:53 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, misuse of plate, and improper license classification of vehicle driven.
Thursday, Aug. 20
• A 47 year-old East Haven man was arrested at 2 p.m. and charged with criminal trespass in the third degree, burglary in the third degree, criminal mischief in the third degree, larceny in the sixth degree, and criminal attempt to commit burglary in the third degree.
• A 20 year-old Bridgeport woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 5:44 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle was under license or registration suspension, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, misuse of plate, and failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart.

• A 60 year-old man of Temple Street was issued a citation at 9:57 a.m. for creating a public disturbance.
Saturday, Aug. 22

Sunday, Aug. 23
• A 55 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 8:22 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree and threatening in the second degree.
Monday, Aug. 24
• A 34 year-old woman of Hansen Farm Road was arrested at 3:28 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct, violation of a protective order, and assault in the second degree.
Tuesday, Aug. 25
No arrests were made.
From Aug. 5 to 25 North Haven police issued nine citations to motorists for using a hand-held cell phone while driving, three citations to motorists for distracted driving (non-cell phone related), two citations for traveling unreasonably fast, and two citations for operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license. One citation was issued for each of the following motor vehicle violations: failure to obey a stop sign, failure to grant right of way, failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart, making an improper turn, improper license classification for vehicle driven, making an unsafe movement from a stopped for standing position, failure to wear a seat belt in the front seat, and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway.
