Man Accused of Clinton Assault Arrested in Seymour
Police in Seymour have arrested a man who they say had been hiding in an old mechanic garage while police in Clinton were searching for him to answer to sexual assault charges.
According to police, Cody Urban, also known as Tony Mack, 21 of Stratford and Mendocino, Calif., was hiding in an art studio converted from an old mechanic garage on Davis Street in Seymour. Urban was aware of warrants for his arrest stemming from an Oct. 13 sexual assault in Clinton.
A police report indicates that Urban was wanted on charges of aggravated sexual assault with a firearm, unlawful restraint, assault, strangulation, carrying a danger weapon, and threatening. Urabn was transported to the Clinton Plice Department on Thursday, Oct. 17 where he was processed and held on the court set bond of $500,000.
Urban was scheduled to appear in Middletown Superior Court on Friday, Oct. 18 at 9 a.m.
