Clinton Police Incident Report for Aug. 22 and 23
The Harbor News publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Clinton, Westbrook, and Old Saybrook. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.
Wednesday, Aug. 22
• A 24 year-old woman of a Cow Hill Road apartment was arrested at 5:33 p.m. and charged with illegal possession of narcotics, failure to keep a prescription drug in its original container, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
• A 24 year-old man of Lockwood Drive was issued a misdemeanor summons at 5:03 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension, failure to return plates after suspension or cancellation, traveling unreasonably fast, and possession of less than ½ ounce of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop on Pallenberg Drive near Cow Hill Road.
• A 53 year-old man of Glenwood Road was arrested at 10:23 p.m. and charged with risk of injury to a minor, interfering with an emergency call, and disorderly conduct following a domestic dispute.
• A 51 year-old man of Lincoln Road was issued a misdemeanor summons at 6:25 p.m. for littering or illegal dumping on Valley Road.
Thursday, Aug. 23
• A 69 year-old man of Glenwood Road was arrested at 5:53 p.m. at his home on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.
• A 26 year-old woman of a Killingworth Turnpike apartment was issued a misdemeanor summons at 4:51 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension and operating an unregistered motor vehicle following a motor vehicle stop on Glenwood Road.
