Chester First Selectman Ed Meehan and Public Works Director John Divis are asking residents to remove dangerous obstructions from the edge of town roads. Portable basketball stands and trash receptacles pose hazardous conditions for drivers along the towns narrow streets, especially at night time. Larger emergency vehicles, town snow plows and box delivery trucks need wider and higher clearance. Please remove these dangerous obstacles and keep Chester’s roads safe.
