North Branford High School (NBHS) students welcomed several U.S. military veterans to school today, for a program organized by NBHS History teacher Stephanie Cangiano-Barry.

Students of NBHS music teacher Michael Carnaroli provided the National Anthem.  Staff and students were able to visit with veterans from several branches of the Armed Services to learn more about the vet's experiences in past wars as well as those of today.

According to NBHS principal Todd Stoeffler, "All of the veterans shared their positive observations regarding our students' conduct and our faculty's warm reception."
