Tanya Fritz Pellegrino, 42, died suddenly on Oct. 28 at Yale-New Haven Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.  She was the wife of Christopher Pellegrino. Tanya was born in New Haven on Dec. 16, 1969, daughter of Charles (Bill) and Phillis Fritz of Clinton.  She had lived most of her life in Clinton and graduated from The Morgan School and Branford Hall.

Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by her two daughters, Jessica and Heather Stevens, and a stepdaughter, Paige Pellegrino. She is also survived by her sister, Suzanne Mizger of East Lyme; her brother, Charles (Chuck) Fritz of East Lyme; and her former brother-in-law, Alex Mizger, Jr. of Clinton. In addition, she is survived by her nephews Alex III and Jonathan Mizger; her niece Jordan Fritz; her in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. James Pellegrino of North Haven; her brothers-in-law James Pellegrino and his wife Laura and Michael Pellegrino and his wife Megan; three nieces, Madelyn, Olivia, and Elise Pellegrino; and a nephew, Michael  Pellegrino.

All are invited to attend services at St. Mary’s Church of the Visitation, Grove St., Clinton, on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at 11:30 a.m.  Burial in Beaver Brook Cemetery, Clinton, will take place after the service. A reception for all family and friends will follow at the Clinton Fire House.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions for Tanya’s daughters, Jessica and Heather, may be made c/o Chris Pellegrino, 14 Bargate Rd., Clinton, CT 06413.
