Westbrook Police Incident Report for Oct. 20 and 21
The Harbor News publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Clinton, Westbrook, and Old Saybrook. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content. Wednesday, Oct. 20Thursday, Oct. 21Police correspondent Jason J. • No arrests were made and no significant incidents were reported.
• A 19 year-old Branford woman and a 27 year-old Old Saybrook woman were arrested at 4:23 p.m. on warrants charging them with larceny in the sixth degree and conspiracy to commit larceny in the sixth degree. Both were released on $1,500 non-surety bonds pending Nov. 4 court dates. The victim of the larceny was a 67 year-old woman of Mohican Road.
• A 27 year-old Wallingford woman was issued a citation at 4:48 p.m. for failure to grant right of way after she pulled out into oncoming traffic while operating a 1998 Jeep Wrangler and collided with a 2002 Dodge Neon operated by a 55 year-old Clinton man. No injuries were reported at the scene.
