Thomas G. Smith, 60, of East Haven, the beloved husband of Mariann Laudicina Smith, died in Branford on Dec. 20.  Mr. Smith was born in New Haven on July 16, 1951, son of the late Raymond L. and Doris Thomas Smith.  He had served in the U. S. Navy and was a retired HVAC technician, having worked for Apple Oil Company and Eastern Fuel.  He was also a member of the Branford Bible Chapel. 

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Sherry Baker and her husband Ryan of Clinton, David Smith and his wife Diane of Rochester, New York, and Christina Smith of East Haven; his grandsons, Ryan Thomas, and Tadan Christopher Baker; six siblings, Gloria Parker of Oregon, Dolores Brough of Vermont, Donna Espinosa of Branford, Raymond Smith of New Hampshire, and Edward Smith and Kathy Affinito of New Haven; his father-in-law, Anthony Laudicina of East Haven; two brothers-in-law, Joseph Laudicina and Anthony Laudicina and his wife Amy; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, Dec. 22, from 10 to 11 a.m., with a funeral service at 11 a.m. at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St., Branford.  Burial will follow in Center Cemetery, Branford.  For directions and online memorial see www.wsclancy.com.
