Sunday, April 12
No arrests were made.
• A 54 year-old Ivoryton man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 10:11 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and failure to have insurance following a motor vehicle stop on Route 1 at Schoolhouse Road.
Monday, April 13
No arrests were made.
Tuesday, April 14
• A 25 year-old Bridgeport man was arrested at 7:34 p.m. on a warrant charging him with forgery in the second degree, making a false statement to procure a credit card, larceny in the fifth degree, and illegal use of a credit card.
• A 28 year-old man of Christy Heights Road was arrested at 10:32 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and violation of a protective order under the domestic violence act.
• An 18 year-old Hadlyme man and a 17 year-old were each issued a citation at 12:15 a.m. for simple trespass.
From April 1 to 14 Old Saybrook police also issued 69 citations to motorists for using a hand-held cell phone while driving, 13 citations for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, one citation for failure to drive a reasonable distance apart, one citation for traveling unreasonably fast, and one citation for failure to obey a stop sign.
