After two years of cancellations due to the pandemic, on December 13, 2021, the Branford Festival committee came out early on social media with its alert that the Branford Festival is returning in 2022. The big event, fondly recognized as the town's unofficial kick-off to summer, is set to take over the Branford town green on Father's Day weekend - Friday, June 17, Saturday, June 18 and Sunday, June 19.

Now, the all-volunteer committee is putting on a push to drum up new volunteers who are needed to help bring the festival back to life.

"As we plan for the return of our beloved Festival in 2022, we are putting out the call for anyone who would be interested in joining our committee," the Branford Festival Committee has posted, in a note announcing the return of the 'fest at its Facebook and Instagram pages.

Interested volunteers are asked to message the committee at its Facebook page (@thebranfordfestival) to be put in touch with co-chairs Kris Klarman or Barbara Barringham.
