Guilford Schools Welcome New Staff Members
When the new school year starts on Thursday, Aug. 31, some familiar faces and some new faces will greet students. The district is welcoming 20 new teachers and administrators to the district. On Aug. 23, the Courier stopped by Guilford High School to photograph the new teachers:

The new staff members shared a little bit of trivia about themselves:
Jharley Jones: “I was born and raised in Cartagena, Columbia. I’m a lawyer in Columbia.”
Lily Keegan: “I attended the Nobel Peace Prize World Summit in Barcelona, Spain in the fall of 2015.”
Heather Potts: Went to Haiti to work with orphans
Jody Rebhun: “I am a returning faculty member.”
Michael Regan: Attended Guilford schools and had Dr. Elisabeth Adams as a doctor.
Emily Dadario: “At my kindergarten graduation I stood up and said I wanted to be a teacher when I was older and here I am.”
