Fourteen students from Guilford High School have been named all-state musicians at the Connecticut Music Educators Association Southern Region Festival. The students submitted audition material last fall to qualify for the festival before entering another round of auditions competing against musicians from across Connecticut. In April, the students participated in a series of online workshops with noted artists such as Midori, The United States Coast Guard Band, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Dr. Jeffrey Douma, and Tesfa Wondemagegnehu.
