At a recent dinner meeting of the Branford Lions Club, Marissa Salazar was named the Lions Youth of the Year. This award and scholarship is given to a graduating senior, selected by the school staff, who has performed significant service to her school and its organizations. Salazar was accompanied at the meeting by her parents and assistant principal Anna Puglia.
