Zachary “Zach” Joyce was born on June 30, 1993, in Mission Viejo, California. He always considered himself a California kid. He loved the beach, water, snow, skiing, and, first and foremost, his family and friends. Everyone loved Zack.
After living in Boston and Seattle, Zack settled here in Essex, where he lived on and off for the rest of his life. Zack attended elementary and junior high school in Essex, and graduated from Xavier High School in Middletown. Zack attended Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana, following his lifelong passion for the outdoors, especially downhill skiing.
Everyone knows Zack. If you frequented many of the local restaurants, Zack was the larger-than-life personality, sharing the many stories about his life’s adventures—of which there are a lot. Two and a half years ago, Zack was blessed with a daughter, Vienna Leux Joyce, who was the light of his life, with the love of his life, Tiffany Nevers.
Zack now moves on to his next adventure, waving goodbye to Nathaniel and Amanda, his younger brother and sister; his parents Kristen and Kevin Joyce; his daughter Vienna; and last, his incredible network of friends around the world.
I know Zack is out there, sitting at the beach, watching the waves come in, turning to us and saying, “YEAH MAN!”
