Owners Carmine and Susan Liguori combined two buildings to create Centro Pizza at 65/67 Whitfield Street. Centro Pizza is a family style Italian restaurant that specializes in thin-crust, Napoletana-style pizza and authentic Italian cuisine. The restaurant seats more than 70 people. Daily specials, a kids' menu, and gluten-free meals are featured. Catering for any occasion is available.

Carmine Liguori has been in the restaurant business for 40 years; he previously co-owned Pasta Fair in Orange for 10 years and has owned Carmine's Tuscan Grill in New Haven for the last 16 years.
