Rudolf 'Rudy' J. Krizsan, 82, North Haven
Rudolf “Rudy” J. Krizsan, 82, of Kings Highway, North Haven, passed away peacefully on August 2 at his home, with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of 45 years to Phyllis Milione Krizsan. Rudy was born in Csomor, Hungary, on January 14, 1932, son of the late Janos and Erzsebet Tupi Krizsan.
He came to this country in 1956 after being a Hungarian Freedom Fighter. He served his country faithfully in the U.S. Army. He was the owner of the Millturn Manufacturing Company and a member of the Hungarian Community Club of Wallingford.
He was the father of Elizabeth Krizsan, and Linnea Krizsan and her husband Peter Sherman. He was the grandfather of his two “Golden-Nuggets,” Ry and Max. He was the brother of Janos Krizsan.
Family and friends were invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church on August 5. Interment followed in the North Haven Center Cemetery. There were no visiting hours.
