Music for Joe
The band Left on Scarlet Street—John Chiechi, Dave Russo, Rob Marchese, and Pierre Sorey—played a fundraiser to benefit Joe Barber and family at Moxie on Nov. 12. Barber, a senior at Daniel Hand High School, was paralyzed in a diving accident this summer and is currently recovering in Denver, Colorado.
Next up is the Madison Cultural Arts and Music at the Meetinghouse 18th annual holiday concert at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12, at the First Congregational Church in Madison. The concert is a benefit for Barber as well as a collection point for non-perishable food items for the Madison Community Services Food Pantry, which provides groceries to Madison residents in need throughout the year. Tickets are available at the Madison Stop & Stop service desk with a limited number available at the door just prior to the concert. For more information, call 203-245-0615.
