Barbara Anderson Reynolds, 65, of Guilford, passed away peacefully on July 10 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Barbara was born in New Haven on Feb. 11, 1950, daughter of Warren Anderson and the late Pat Sheridan Anderson.

She obtained her bachelor’s degree in social work and worked for the State of Connecticut for many years until her retirement; she devoted her life to helping others, namely the homeless community in and around New Haven.

She was the mother of Jeromy Reynolds, and the sister of Karen Casey and Marilyn (David) Cataldo. She is also survived by many devoted nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services have been entrusted to the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave. There will be no visiting hours. A Memorial Service for Barbara will be held at the family’s convenience.
