Guilford Education Association Read-a-thon Supports SARAH

This year once again the Guilford Education Association (GEA) held a Read-a-thon to support SARAH. Students read books and secured sponsors for the number of pages or books they read. The Read-a-thon raised more than $19,000 for SARAH.
These funds were donated to the SARAH Foundation to support its programs and services for people with intellectual and other disabilities who live in Connecticut.
The top fundraisers from each school were Liam Ledwith of Baldwin Middle School, Jill Meglin of Calvin Leete School, Ryan McMahon of Guilford Lakes School, and Issac Ott Hill of Melissa Jones School. Ledwith was the highest fundraiser at Baldwin and the district’s highest fundraiser.
