The Chester Squirrels won the round-robin vintage baseball game against teams from Deep River and Essex. The game, played by mid-19th century rules, was actually called base ball, using two words, more than 150 years ago. The annual tournament is a collaboration between the historical societies of Chester, Deep River, and Essex.
