Florence Weber
Florence Weber, 92, of Clinton, passed away Nov. 15, 2024, at her home.
She was born Aug. 8, 1932, in Brooklyn, New York, to John and Dorothy Neesham. She grew up in Brooklyn and graduated from Prospect High School in 1950.
She worked in Manhattan as an executive secretary. She met the love of her life, Paul Weber; they were married in 1958 and made their home in Bay Shore, New York.
Upon moving to Clinton in 1970, she became a life-long active parishioner at St. Mary Church of the Visitation, where she taught CCD, was a lecturer, brought communion to the sick and home-bound in area hospitals and homes, and was one of the founding members of Living Water Prayer Community.
She was predeceased by her husband, F. Paul Weber; son, Paul Weber; daughter, Susan Weber; her parents; her brothers, Robert Neesham and Jack Neesham; and her sister, Dorothy Happel.
She is survived by her daughter Nancy Guindon (William Lastomrsky); grandsons Garrett Guindon, Douglas Guindon, and Benjamin Weber; great-granddaughters Madalyn, Sophia, and Kennedy Guindon; daughter-in-law, Catherine Weber; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
She enjoyed watching the NY Giants and Yankees, UConn men’s and women’s basketball, as well as trips to Cape Cod and going out to dinner to toast, holidays, and special occasions with a glass of champagne or wine.
